Lamp Parts

Biological Lamp is a work in progress project in which I’m using multimedia approaches in order to create a lamp that mimics a deconstructed human anatomy. The neck and base of the lamp are being produced using 3D printing and laser etch printer. The print files were produced using Autodesk Fusion and Meshmixer. The lampshade is composed of a self-made fabric that mimics human skin using layers of liquid latex and makeup powder that I will later tattoo. It is wired using a wiring kit from the hardware store to produce a functioning desk lamp.
